Miss Piggy, that is. They state she’s a diva, as well as sure, I can see that — the tantrums on the set, the king-size dressing room, personal fitness instructors as well as catered food flown in from Paris. I can’t assist however question if miss P’s penchant for drama played a function in the new miss Piggy for MAC collection. might that be why it only contains three bit pieces?

The Lash in 36 ($15)

Probably the piece that stands out the most for me, even if they took a while to apply. The thin, comfy lash band doesn’t feel like it’s simply resting on top of my lids, which I like, as well as the long, wispy lashes feel as light as butterfly kisses. Of course, they weren’t the simplest falsies to apply (it took me two tries), however I’m happy I stuck it out, since I believe they’re surprisingly comfortable, as far as remarkable lashes go. fantastic for a night on the town with the girls.

Eyeshadow in miss Piggy Pink ($15)

The structure of this hella sheer blueish pink feels like hard-packed clay to me, as well as I have to swirl my clean inside the pan about 15 times to pick up sufficient color for a single layer (for the three three layers I’m using for this look, I must have swirled about 45 times). On the plus side, though, I like exactly how lightweight the product looks as well as feels, even when I truly pack it on. I wouldn’t state that I’m in like with the color, as I believe it’s a tad as well sheer for me (probably a much better match for lighter lovelies).

Penultimate Eye liner in Rapidblack ($17.50)

A repromote, as well as my least preferred piece in the release. At least in my hands, the short, rigid tip isn’t conducive to smooth lines. Mine all have jagged edges, so I believe I’ll be staying with LORAC’s Front of the Line Pro.

While I like the lashes, for me that’s almost all this small collection has to offer. That as well as a few regrets. I would have liked a lipgloss influenced by the color of miss P.’s purple gloves (wouldn’t that have been rad?), or sassy special edition packaging, or a shimmery eco-friendly eyeshadow influenced by the one as well as only item of miss Piggy’s affections…

I hope that if MAC revisits the Muppets style once again (and I truly hope that they do), they take fuller advantage of miss Piggy’s larger-than-life personality. Can you picture something like Venomous Villains however with Muppets?

Grandcat

Well, that about does it for Friday, my friend, as well as it appears like we made it. WOO HOO!

Tomorrow my parents are driving over from the east Bay to, as they put it, “visit the grandcat.”

I’m so stoked since my mom is bringing one of her famous apple pies (made with apples from their backyard) as well as one of my preferred dishes, sinigang, which is kinda like Filipino gumbo.
